Hi.

So like today was a busy day, but it was good busy. Morning was filled with the opening of the new centre and that took a lot of time and involved a lot of paranoia but it was cool. It was interesting. And there was catered lunch that wasn’t half bad so that’s always a plus.

Then in the afternoon, I headed back to school. After the last visit, I really wasn’t expecting much and I didn’t really plan to meet with anyone either. Well, only one person. But I got there and I met Nitha and all my year 2 friends (all dreading electives and internship!) and I had good ol’ bubble tea.

And I spent the evening at the Plaza with Paul, who had decided I was worth his time. Qixin, I bought us a pack of gummies for the party tomorrow but we kinda busted it open and ate it! I’ll buy you a new pack tomorrow haha!

Okay, never mind I need to go do yoga now or something or I might bawl.

new york city.

wow i forgot how i missed the smell of coffee and cigarettes. familiar, familiar.

i remember how sarah once told me that my expectations for the world were too high. it was a long time ago, but i think she’s right.

we’re friends. we’re supposed to be a family of friends. we’re suppose to stick together through hell and back – like the old days. we’re supposed to be stronger than this. i cannot believe we’re tearing at the seams.

The past week, safe for Sunday, has been such a whirlwind of saddity.

And I cannot believe Qixin and I have work on Saturday – full day, no less – and NO animals to look forward too.

Naj, we need more tea by the pot and biscottis and a hell lot of sugar.

in any other world, you could tell the difference.

Art Immersion Programme

:D The girls and I went to both the Singapore Art Museum and 8Q today and it was spectacularly fun. We started out at 8Q cause I was just too darn excited.

We went to a grand total of four food establishments. My favourite was Dome at SAM though. Anyhoots, we saw many great exhibitions (that doll one, balls) and finally, finally got to meet after a unacely long while.

Right after, I headed east for dinner with the family and my grams cause we’re celebrating her birthday a week early. It was totes fun and there was good, good food and cake (a pie, really) and singing and a very friendly waiter. Good stuff.

Night Safari

As freaked out as I know I will be, it’s become obvious to me a few moments ago that the Night Safari and us just aren’t meant to be.

That’s that then. I’m spent.

  3. Get an oreo milkshake
  4. Meet Charmaine and Naj (note to self: VERY IMPORTANT)
  5. IDK, maybe learn to karate chop.
